Baila Por La Paz was born in London, a city often referred to as being a 'hub' where artists come and go, collaborations are made and dissolved, friendships are made and tried to maintain over distance.

It was then recorded during the lockdown of Spring 2020, when these distances became further but somehow closer than ever, and the feeling of reflection, of longing, of love and of hope for a better future were playing on everybody's minds.

As physical interaction was impossible, microphones were sent to several different countries, and the pieces were put together from many different remote locations including Italy, Spain, UK, and Brazil.

The outcome is a fusion of world music with a cinematic twist, featuring the thoughts, feelings and languages of each artist involved and including their experiences and their heritages within the music.
